Learning the right way to train your puppy to be well behaved is the absolute best thing you are able to do for your puppy to provide it with an excellent start to life. Training a puppy isn’t as tough as it appears, it can be a pleasant and fantastic experience and a fantastic time to get to know your dog better.
You have to know how to train your puppy if you wish to have much less of a difficult time and hassles in the future with your dog. The easiest way of doing that is by following a dog training guide that you’ll find on the internet, or a book that teaches you exactly what you must do.
Make sure that while studying how to train your puppy that training must be a happy and enjoyable experience for the both of you, most probably things will not go your way at first, but if you don’t give up and continue with what is required then you’ll have an obedient dog in no time. You should deal with your puppy the same way as a baby or young child, they still don’t yet know what you expect of them and so you will have to anticipate a few mistakes and accidents along the way throughout the training process.
Want to know how to train your puppy successfully with ease? A simple trick to making training your puppy a whole lot easier is to make a daily timetable. A daily schedule undoubtedly is useful and makes your life a whole lot more less complicated when training your puppy. You’ll be able to predict every day the approximate time that you need to take your puppy outside to go to the toilet and usually these occasions are after waking up from a nap or long sleep, after eating meals, and after exercise or playtime. Using positive training and praising your puppy each time it does something correctly will encourage it to want to do the same thing again next time because of the positive outcome. There are no magical training techniques or solutions that can provide you with a well trained dog instantly, you’ll have to put in the time and effort to train your puppy if you want to have a good obedient dog.
When you learn how to train your puppy you must know that there are times when the puppy won’t be able to resist the need to pee or poop and may just let it out inside your home and you definitely should not frighten the puppy by yelling at it or rubbing its face in the waste, this will only make issues worse because the puppy will probably be frightened of you and next time will attempt to hide from you and relieve itself which may mean it will be hard for you to discover where the puppy relieved itself. Reward your puppy and praise it when it has eliminated in the appropriate place and do not punish it when it has eliminated in the incorrect area. If your puppy does not need to go anymore and continues relieving itself on the way outside then it’s too late and all you can do is clean up the mess and get rid of the odor with some sort of deodorizer.
Finding an excellent dog training guide is probably the best things to do if you wish to know how to train your puppy efficiently on your own. Some individuals spend so much time looking at other methods and techniques to train their dog that they don’t take action and eventually end up confused with all of the choices they have and end up not taking action and leaving their puppy untrained. Make a choice and select one training method or guide and take action and do what it teaches and in no time you’re going to have an obedient well trained dog.

Probably the most powerful contributing factor in shaping your adorable little pup into a really well behaved adult dog the whole family will love is robust dog training approaches. Dogs need to learn the rules of the household, as do children, and they have to respect the authority of their masters. A large number of budding dog owners fall in love with the adorable, butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths, puppyface at the pet store, only to learn just how frustrating it is when that lovely ball of fluff is frequently doing it’s biz upon the rug and also chewing up all around the home from the household furniture to everyones shoes. Even though all young puppies are certain to get into their fair share of trouble, a responsible dog owner will allow enough time and exercise the patience to raise that puppy into a superbly behaved family pet that is a pleasure for everyone. This article will present variousfundamental dog training advice that will help you to develop a happy and enduring relationship with your dog further down the track.
Establishing Rules
As soon as possible get some rules laid down as a first step in dog training. So if you don’t want your dog to be on your bed when he is fully grown, you should start by not allowing the puppy there either. Not once; not ever. Your puppy is never too young to start to be trained to stay off the furniture or not to jump up on your houseguests for that matter. Before you introduce your new puppy to your home, be sure the whole family understands what is required and they are prepared to enforce the rules the puppy needs to learn.
Consistency Is Key
Once all the rules have been set out, it will then be up to you to maintain consistency in that they are being adhered to. Your puppy should be reprimanded with a firm “No!” every time a rule of the house is disobeyed. After that show the puppy the correct thing to do. The same applies to all areas of dog training from housebreaking to not chewing your shoes and using his own chew toys. Just like kids, dogs will learn the rules quickly when they are enforced every time. For the dog owner consistency does take patience and time which can be a small problem. Nonetheless, solid consistent dog training from the outset will save time and effort – and all the headaches – longterm.
Offering Positive Rewards
When your puppy does follow the rules accordingly, it is also important to reward him for good behavior. Effective dog training uses positive reinforcement alot more often than punishment to get the desired results. To begin with an edible treat such as a dog biscuit can be used as a reward. As your puppy becomes familiar with the dog training process, rewards can then move to praise and positive attention when your puppy does obey your commands. When positive reinforcment is provided in a consistent manner, your puppy will understand reasonably quickly that it is to his benefit that he listens to you and obeys.
In no way is dog training a difficult task to master, it just takes a certain amount of time, patience and using consistent methods to get the results you are after. However, you will find that the time you put in will be well worth the effort when you end up with a really good, well behaved dog that listens and doesn’t go silly when guests are over and is an enjoyable experience for your family.
You will find a similarities between many proud dog owners, which is the fact that they’ve managed to successfully behavior trained their dogs! Many first time puppies owner will quickly realized that it seems impossible to get your puppies to do what you want them to do, it is as if they have a mind of it’s own and their ultimate goal is to annoy you.
While training your dog’s behavior is a long and complicated process, it should not be more difficult than that! Understanding some of the training principal listed below can save you a lot of time as well as frustration, so if you’re looking to train your dog, read on!
Fair Rewarding System
Much like dishing out appropriate punishment when they misbehave, you should also include a rewarding system for your pet every time they do an action that is desirable. Much like humans, your pet need affirmation and approval from you, by rewarding them you’re essentially telling them that you like what they’ve just did, this positive reinforcement will work better especially when you’re trying to get your dog to learn a new trick, as punishment is a little too vague for your dog to understand if they do not perform the action that you want them to do.
Learning One Step at a Time
Of course you are excited to begin your training journey with your dog, and so is your dog! But bear in mind that dogs are simple animal and can only retain so many things at one sitting, therefore you should teach them one trick at a time, as overwhelming them with tons of different tricks will usually do them no good. The best way to go about this is to be patient with them, you might need up to two weeks for them to fully understand your command, but it is far better than teaching them new things every other day, as it will just confuses them as to what they should really be doing.
Are You Frustrated?
Sometimes pet owners lose their patience and temper and will no doubt lash out on their dog. Whenever you find yourself facing this situation, you have to stop and think, why in the first place are you doing this? Were you trying to share a special bond and moment with your pet, and in the mean time have fun? If that was true, you are not getting anywhere near there! So if you start seeing the dog training process as a chore rather than fun, then you need to start evaluating where it is heading and stop if you have to!

Your dog is always learning. The problem is – how do you get your dog to learn good habits and NOT bad habits?
Dogs understand things very differently to us humans, so frequently when you are training (or even when you think you are NOT training) your dog you are actually making behavior problems worse!
When you see the world through your dog’s eyes you gain a huge advantage in training them to do what you want.
When you understand how your dog thinks – and what he needs to know – the training program is easy to follow.
Most dog obedience training courses rely on punishing your dog whenever he doesn’t listen…
They never reveal proven strategies that show exactly how to make your dog UNDERSTAND what you are communicating to him…
They don’t discuss the most vital part of getting your dog to learn new things! (Which is making sure he understands what you are trying to get him to do!)
You don’t need some 12–week dog obedience training plan where you do almost the same thing each week. This is not the most effective way of training your dog because your dog switches out of learning mode due to him not being used to learning new things!…
You don’t need some “scientifically calculated” dog training program based on hours of repetition that’s impossible to follow (not to mention doesn’t work).
What you need is the fastest and healthiest methods that exist to stop your dog’s behavior problems now!
Whether your dog is a puppy or an adult, it doesn’t matter, you can transform your dog’s behavior. Forget hiring a professional dog trainer and save hundreds of dollars.
